Opening an Account

Customers are subject to an Account Set-up Charge when a new account is opened. Currently, the charge is $15.75 and is approved by our Regulator, The Ontario Energy Board.
For customers with Utilities Kingston services, please note that there is a $15.75 charge per service, up to a max of $63.00, if all services are required.

A Security Deposit is required to be paid unless you meet certain requirements to have the deposit waived. A minimum of 25% of the deposit is applied to your account on the date you have requested service to begin. Three additional installments of 25% each will be billed at 30 day intervals until full deposit has been billed.
