Electricity Conservation & Demand Management

Electricity Conservation and Demand Management is the easiest and most cost effective way to address rising environmental and economic costs. Conservation measures reduce the total amount of electricity you use over the course of a month, while demand management measures help reduce or time-shift peaks in electricity use. Together, Conservation and Demand Management can minimize cost of maintaining and building generation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure to satisfy Ontario’s electricity needs, while making it easier to satisfy these demands with more environmentally friendly electricity sources.
